5 star accommodation with first class hosts

Pros: Roger and Katie made you feel so welcome, they made it feel like your own house. The house itself is beautifully restored with quality decor and authentic furniture.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Pros: Host was welcoming, cake and coffee was a nice little touch on arrival. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom and a peaceful location. The breakfast was good quality, lots of choice and well cooked.

We enjoyed a warm, clean and comfortable visit in a lovely house in a quiet environment.

Pros: We arrived to a warm welcome and tea and cake beside a lively log burner. Our room was so comfortable and looked out on the most beautiful rural view. There was a wide selection of beverages we could make in the room and every facility in the en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed an excellent night's sleep. The choice at breakfast was impressive and we could choose any combination.

Cons: If we had made a list of desirable features before we visited Ardwyn House, they would all have been ticked so there was nothing not to like.

Pros: Breakfast was good and nice service. A proper traditional guest house. Host superb, nothing too much trouble. Location is ideal if you are in that area.

Handsome B&B with very likeable hosts in glorious countryside with loads to see and visit.

Pros: Handsome Edwardian house impeccably decorated with warm comfortable bedrooms and fine views across glorious landscape on the edge of the Cambrian mountains. Roger cooked a top breakfast and told some hilarious stories about the history of the house and Llanwyrtd Wells. Loved the library and billiard room where Kate brought us tea and cake. We will go back, no question.

Outstanding stay, Outstanding welcome

Pros: Ardwyn House has been tastefully decorated to its Art Nouveau beginnings, Roger and Kate do more than welcome you they make you feel part of the family, with nothing to much of a problem. The breakfast is a must.

Cons: Had to leave

Pros: Fabulous location and excellent small hotel, a family run business the love and care given to the establishment makes staying here a wonderful experience. Lovely old world furnishings yet warm and comfortable. The home made cake and marmalade was an unexpected bonus.

Cons: Nothing.
