Ideal spot for a couple who want to stay remotely but only a couple of miles walk along the river to Hay on Wye town. We

Pros: Beautiful conversion with lovely decor. Modern bathroom. Well equipped. Exceptionally clean Lovely views over fields

Beautiful views, tranquil location with easy access to Hay on Wye, walks and the river.

Pros: Beautiful location - peaceful, tranquil and within easy reach of Hay on Wye, the river and lots of walks. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials for self-catering options. Justin and Nancy (hosts) were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Highly recommended.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Loved the barn. So comfy and in beautiful surroundings. Hosts had thought of pretty much everything and the dogs loved their adventures.

Cons: Nobody's fault but this property was marked as wheelchair accessible when there was gravel and a big step to get through the door.

Lovely little place for two

Pros: The location was beautiful and very rural. The property was lovely, cosy and equipped well for two people. I would have liked some oven dishes as we had to use the grill pan for our pizza and also no sweeping brush but otherwise spot on with equipment. Lovely bathroom. Spotless place. Lovely bedding and towels. We had great nights sleep. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful. Lovely Welshcakes which my husband loved. Milk and coffee. There was adequate parking. The fact we had 3 dogs which wasn't an issue was great.

Cons: The property is 'pet friendly' and we did take our dogs but were disappointed that the little patio wasn't secure. That would have made a huge difference as it meant really no outside space for the dogs that was secure. We used our dog crates to barricade it off but were too nervous to leave them out there. The owners dog is allowed to roam about completely unsupervised and did have a go at one of my dogs (who was on the lead). Not a worry for me but maybe for some. The property is also completely overlooked by the bigger neighbouring rental so privacy isn't guaranteed. I always like to give an honest review and hope the owners are not upset by the negatives as it really is a beautiful place but just fell short for us.
