Beautiful, comfortable weekend getaway which comes highly recommended.

Pros: Superb quiet location - ideal for a weekend (or longer) getaway. The house was larger than expected - and clean throughout. The Property is in a beautiful countryside location. The Property is well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher and a very functional oven. The beds are comfortable and are immaculately made on arrival. Which made for a good restful sleep. The host kept us informed ahead of the travel of where to find the property. Took into account a comforting arrival by supplying milk and small provisions so we could have a hot drink after the journey. Which is always welcome. A short journey into Hay on Wye which is well worth a visit if you are an avid reader \

Cons: Not a reflection on the hosts or the stay - the property itself is located on a single track road. Several miles from the local shop. Whilst this made for a peaceful location - the need for a car (own transport) is essential. Not an issue for us, but may effect some.

Lovely family weekend

Pros: Lovely location, hosts were very nice. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. All of us had a good time perusing the book shops in Hay-on-wye

Cons: Nothing to do with the hosts or accommodation, would have been even better if it had been dry and slightly less muddy.
