A gem with easy access to the Hay Festival

Pros: Stunning location with beautiful views. Very conveniently located for the Hay Literary Festival. Clean, comfortable and quiet, and has pretty much everything you could need in the kitchen. Very smooth getting into the property. We would definitely book this place again!

Pros: It’s a blissful location. Quiet with a beautiful view. The lodge is comfortable with all you need for a delightful stay.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

Pros: Amazing property - as everyone else says, the views are wonderful. Surrounded by birdsong. Really lovely property owner - could not have asked for more!

Cons: We couldn't get the oil burner to work - it was still warm enough with the main heaters though, even in February.

Pros: This was the best holiday I have had the rooms where so clean the veiw was out of this world The town was amazing the bookshops well just out of this world 4 days of heaven The lady we meet was the mum of the owner she was so friendly and helpful

Blissful remoteness and quietness

Pros: I loved the views across the wye valley, the quietness and the sound of birds and sheep

Cons: It’s a slightly challenging road to get there, very narrow and steep, not for the nervous driver
