Lovely villa with great owners in a beautiful and convenient location for travelling around north Wa

Pros: Location was great and the house was full of thoughtful touches such as treats, towels and bowls for pets and a lovely welcome basket full of nice snacks and drinks! The decor was very lovely as well and really made it pleasure to stay in and relax! The neighbours (who I assume are the owners) also brought us a fan during the stay as the weather was getting very warm which was a really lovely touch.

Cons: Absolutely not the fault of the owners but the company which manages the property, Sykes Cottages, were really bad at communicating promptly. We used the WhatsApp help line provided and they consistently took over 12 hours to respond to any requests. Also a minor point but when you flush the toilet it’s very strong and splashes you every time 😂 takes a bit of adjustment but not a massive deal.

Perfect for my Mum and my husband and me.

Pros: We were visiting family in Newtown with my 91 year old Mother. It was the perfect accommodation for her, and therefore us. Parking just outside the front door, all on one floor. Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, a home away from home. Welcome pack included milk, butter, bread, eggs, wine, crisps, chocolate, biscuits, jam - all much appreciated and enjoyed. Location was great, easy and quick walk into town. Hosts live next door, were welcoming, available if needed, not intrusive in any way.

Cons: Can’t think of anything!

Dreamy stay in Y Drenewydd, our hereditary motherland! So peaceful and welcoming.

Pros: The location, the cottage feel, clean and nicely designed.

Cons: Could have used an extra garbage bag or two, more rolls of toilet paper, and cleaner in the floor mop. Need more instruction on what to do with recycling, and where to place the organics bag from the bin.

Pros: The house was nicely stocked. The host left eggs, beead, milk, coffee and other goodies. This was a pleasant surprise and made life easier during my staff. I will definitely be back.

Knus verblijf in hartje Wales

Pros: Het was een knus en net verblijf, goed verzorgd met handdoeken en beddengoed en erg schoon. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en staan klaar met tips voor activiteiten in de omgeving. Bij aankomst stond er een mand met allerlei lekkers, een brood, melk en boter en eieren in de koelkast. Het huis is gewoon goed verzorgd

Cons: Het 2 persoonsbed is erg klein voor 2 personen. Ik zou het eerder een twijfelaar noemen. En omdat het een rolstoelvriendelijk huis is, is het toilet erg hoog. New town was voor ons een mooie uitvalsbasis om Wales te verkennen, het plaatsje zelf biedt mooie wandelingen in de omgeving maar er is verder weinig te beleven.
