This family run hotel offers traditional, comfortable accommodation in the beautiful setting of the Snowdonia National Park. The hotel restaurant uses local ingredients and the bar serves local real ales. Individually decorated rooms include a flat-screen TV, iron and tea/coffee making facilities. Very convenient location, warm welcome in hotel and bar

Pros: staff are very helpful. My room was cold when I arrived but they sorted it immediately. They also made sure I could have some lunch although I arrived as kitchen was closing.

Cons: Bathroom is tiny. Clean but very very small.

Pros: Bed so comfy, breakfast abundant and very tasty, evening meal choice and quality excellent. Staff so friendly and welcoming , special mention to the young boy who was helping on Wednesday..a credit to his family and himself..

Cons: Just a loose toilet seat. Must be the bane of hoteliers…nowhere does one seem to be secure! Oh no USB port for iPhone.

Lovely place, wonderfully welcoming and friendly staff, good food and great location.

Pros: This is a two star hotel and it exceeded expectations for that rating. Fabulous staff, good food (and plenty of it), terrific breakfasts. Bedroom was comfortable and I was lucky to have an outdoor balcony with table and chairs. Very small bathroom but good shower (if cramped!). Incredibly dog friendly place which was such a relief. Wonderful location. I would be very happy to return.

Cons: There was really nothing to dislike and especially at this star rating.

Pros: All staff lovely and accommodating, made the stay great! Went the extra mile for our little dog and had vegan options on. Bar was friendly and welcoming too, both the locals and staff. Gardens were well kept and the location is great. Beds comfy and clean.

Cons: The rooms are a bit run down, quite a bit of dust and cobwebs lurking about too. The rooms needed a good scrub from top to bottom. The bedding and bathroom were clean which is the most important for us.

Tour of Mid and North Wales

Pros: Location, food, atmosphere, and a clean, comfy bed. We are 3 old age bikers. One of the main things we look for when booking B&B is parking for our bikes. The parking was safe and off-road, which suited us.
