A lovely break

Pros: History of the hotel. The excellent food and service. The abundance of art, sculptures etc.

Cons: A little disappointed we didn't have a better view of the garden in our castle suite.

Pros: Lovely place with very good staff, and a very good breakfast, transport on tap to get around

Fab

Pros: Beautiful place and fab stay in the castle. Every member of staff couldn’t do enough, polite and a lovely warm welcome. We stayed in room castle 1 and it did not disappoint. Dinner I. The evening was lovely as was breakfast.

Pros: The whole location. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Were are both of the age where we watched The Prisoner on tv so was great to see it for real. The estuary views were breath taking and the hotel was a minute away for breakfast. We’d expected rain, but it made no difference. One highlight of staying in the village was to see the buildings lit up at night.

Cons: We expected housekeeping to visit on our second day. We had dirty towels stacking up and no toilet roll and our bins were spilling over. Had to ask for a housekeeping visit.

A night in Welsh paradise

Pros: The staff were very attentive. There were several small touches that made the stay extra special. Especially the nod to my husbands birthday during dinner, which was most unexpected. We loved the walks and atmosphere. Breakfast was great, and the meal in the castell was delightful.

Cons: Opening times were not very clear as we were out of season

Pros: Wonderful location, wonderfully helpful and welcoming staff. Suite was exceptionally comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was really good. A special place.

Tranquility at it best!!

Pros: At first we found it a bit confusing where we parked our car, but that was soon sorted by a very friendly staff member, but after that our time spent at Portmeirion Hotel was nothing short of amazing! Room was fabulous, staff were very polite and friendly and the property and surrounding area was so wonderful! We shall return……Soon!!
