Would use this place again

Pros: Staff were very friendly very nice atmosphere and good food Rrasonsble prices Nice modern bathroom and was nice heating came on in the morning

Cons: The wardrobe in the room seemed to be more of a storage facility for quilts and pillows. Fair enough there being 2 fans in there but it had 4 quilts and other bags of stuff really put me off.

We enjoyed our stay overall it was good value , will return in the winter , for log fires etc

Pros: Staff very friendly and welcoming , Bar lively with friendly locals , early evening and evenings , good atmosphere and good friendly staff behind bar and kitchen ( chef checked with us each evening on meals etc)

Cons: Rooms tidy and relatively clean , bedside locker top and cup/glass mat not cleaned on arrival , it just had ring marks on it but disappointing. I accept it was early Sept , but only the towel rad warmed up in the evening , the radiator in the bedroom remained cold , I did open the valve but to no avail. It was not cold as such but cool.

Wonderful stay

Pros: What a lovely place to stay. The staff greeted us and made us feel welcome straight away. The locals in the bar were also friendly. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. It has a lovely garden area at the back. The food was excellent. We had a 3 course meal in the evening and a breakfast the following morning and everything we had was delicious and we complimented the chef. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.

Decent stay in quaint inn.

Pros: Location was good for us. Bar staff were all pleasant and friendly. Parking was free and nearby. Sunday roast was exceptional! Bedroom was quaint. Beer garden was pleasant.

Cons: Breakfast was very disappointing. Didn’t like the beer garden tables being right outside our bedroom/bathroom windows. House ale wasn’t available all weekend.

Pros: Friendly welcome when we arrived, shown straight up to our rooms. Our table was ready if we wanted it earlier than booked. Enjoyed a lovely meal and very reasonable priced wine.
