New Year's Eve

Pros: The location is perfect for exploring the Elan Valley and surrounding area.. Visiting this time to celebrate New Years Eve so spent the days walking and evenings partying.

Cons: Slightly disappointed that they only offered continental breakfast. The weather was particularly cold and it would have been nice to have started the days with a cooked breakfast.

Pros: Lovely little town, beautiful surroundings. The rooms are above a pub and were very clean and tidy with good facilities

Pros: Very friendly. Perfectly located for a base for sightseeing. The breakfast was great. Welcoming bar and nice clientele. Have stayed before, but will certainly be back, hopefully, soon.

Cons: Room was cold at night and no hot water in the mornings. Not great views from rooms (7&8) but can't have everything. Large enough carpark, but very tight to get into.

Pros: Good basic down to earth accommodation. Friendly service, food was good, especially breakfast. Room was a single and bit basic, but good value for the price. Parking on the road outside was available.

Pros: breakfast good, meals good . well stocked bar, staff excellent and very helpful and friendly

Cons: could have tidied the room ,every morning but that was a minor detail

Short break exploring the Elan Valley.

Pros: The location is fabulous, just a short drive from the Elan Valley. Perfect for exploring the local area. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the food is fab.

Cons: There wasn't anything not to like.

Pros: I have stayed here many times and am always pleased to return. Good food and very friendly staff that are also very accommodating to requests such as an early breakfast.

Cons: View from the room was not very good but I just kept the curtains closed. Other than that, nothing.

Pros: Very friendly family who run this hotel, good although small parking area and offered a very good breakfast. Great value for money and what we required.

Cons: Could just be more appealing from the outside if painted a better colour as rather bold the green it is currently painted and looks rather unattractive
