Beautiful location, comfy room and warm hospitality and good value.

Pros: Amanda has done brilliant job of brightening the place up and making it feel more modern without losing its character. Super clean and very comfy bed.

Cons: Slow filling bath and weak shower but honestly didn’t bother us too much as we were only there 2 nights.

Great pub in a lovely location

Pros: A very friendly welcome at the Royal Oak set in a lovely location. Good beer and pub grub makes it a one stop shop for an evening away.

Cons: The shared bathroom for the 2 single rooms could do with the addition of a shower.

Excellent Beer & Meal, very close to Epynt Ranges.

Pros: Excellent place to stay, we couldn’t make breakfast as we had to leave early, they offered a sandwich & snacks as a replacement.

Cons: The fold out bed was a bit small and not very comfortable, but wasn’t a problem as we only stayed 1 night.

A home from home

Pros: Lovely little place with the friendliest of staff. Amanda and co took the place over a year ago and appear to be working very hard to bring it up to standard. New carpets and decor being added. Breakfast was outstanding. Proper bacon! The Inn is located in a breathtaking area of scenery. Our bikes were very well looked after over night.

The centre of Wales!

Pros: Lovely inn located in a remote, and beautiful part of Wales. The family were friendly and very welcoming, the food was excellent and the room was comfortable. I'll be stopping by again.

Cons: Could have done with a shower in the shared bathroom.

Cosy pub in mid wales

Pros: Lovely welcoming pub in rural mid- wales. We had a lovely room with private bathroom, all very clean and cosy on a wild Welsh night. Good meal in the pub in the evening and a fine breakfast before we set off.

Cons: The cistern in the toilet was a little noisy in the night. Otherwise everything was good
