Pros: The bed and room were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very welcoming

Cons: The only downside was the bathroom. There was no heating in the bathroom as the radiator did not work. There were no small mirror lights as they had taken the bulbs out of the lights above the mirror Also they need signs in the corridor to direct you as quite a maze upstairs

Lovely hotel, with friendly staff and comfortable rooms

Pros: The lovely bar staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons: A tiny gripe....but I messaged the property prior to my arrival about any potential pet-related fees. I received no response. Nor was I asked to pay upon arrival. However, when I had checked out, I received a call and was asked to pay a £10 fee. Felt slightly disorganised.

Cosy quiet place

Pros: Lovely big car park, quiet place on the night we were there, nice and cosy, log fire in the bar area. Breakfast cooked to order -boiled eggs cooked perfectly 👌

Cons: Our room didn't have the best view but that's just pot luck

Slightly faded glory but very good value nonetheless.

Pros: Staff were welcoming and helpful and the bar and lounge areas were comfortable and clean. The evening meal was very good as was breakfast with a good selection on the menu. The room was spacious and clean and the wifi of a good standard. Free parking was a plus.

Cons: The decor in some areas is showing its age and overall the place could do with a spruce up. The breakfast room in particular was disappointing and slightly shabby.

Great break in a lovely place

Pros: Lovely hotel with great staff. Food was nice with big portions, room was great size with lovely big comfortable bed. Free parking, you just had to register your vehicle at reception.

Cons: Layout of the bar was strange, depending on where you were sitting you had to go around to a different room to be served. Where you eat breakfast looked and felt like a roadside cafe
