Excellent overnight stay in old coaching inn.

Pros: Location in the very centre of Rhyader The evening meal was excellent, staff helpful and professional The room was comfortable clean and quiet.

Cons: Parking was an issue but council car park just nearby Bed was a little lumpy

Lovely pub, room a bit too warm.

Pros: The food was great and it was right in the centre of Rhayader.

Cons: It was too hot in the room and the room was quite small.

Peaceful, great location, cost-effective

Pros: Ideal stay! There were three of us and it was exactly what we needed. Couldn't ask for a better location, so central, quiet even though it's above a pub. And you can't argue with the price!

Cons: Could have done with just a few hooks to pop a coat on

Great stay

Pros: Lovely warm welcome. Our room had been upgraded, too. Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food! The best salmon I'd had in a very long time. Good location near centre but very quiet.

Nothing Fancy, Just Great Hospitality At The Crown

Pros: The Crown, along with the other establishments that are operated by the same group in Rhayader, is exceptional for its warm welcome, superb service and reliably good food and drink. The accommodation is perfectly adequate and represents great value for money. We breakfasted over the road at Ty Morgans and that was just as good. The bar and serving staff deserve a special mention as they could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
