Pros: Absolutely beautiful, remote and quiet location in the Welsh hills. The views are unforgettable.

Cons: The Shephard’s Hut is on well water, so the water pressure was a little weak. But, beautiful drinking water.

A comfortable , good sized shepherds hut. Lovely location.

Pros: Location was good and fenced off private plot good for the dog.

Cons: Would have liked curtains on all the windows

fantastic break away from it all

Pros: The view and location are amazing, the accommodation is beautiful, and so well done, and very clean and well supplied

Pros: The hut was clean and well maintained, set on a beautiful site with stunning views and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was very helpful.

Cons: We stayed during hot weather and the hut got very hot.

Hay on Wye is such a lovely place to visit. Lots to do and many interesting book shops to browse

Pros: Incredible aesthetic, beautiful secluded location. The perfect getaway.

Cons: It would be good to have salt and pepper available (maybe oil) for cooking in the kitchenette(?) bring some!

Wonderful couple of nights in beautiful surroundings

Pros: Fabulous location with a large fully enclosed garden that my 2 dachshunds loved.

Cons: Step to get on bed! I am just over 5”

Amazing location, private and spacious with beautiful views.

Pros: Amazing location, private and spacious. Great fire pit/bbq and love that there was a small log burner inside the shepherds hut. The view in the morning is spectacular.

So cosy

Pros: Lovely, cosy and well-kept little place - perfect for one or two people and for Hay festival. There’s a fridge, toaster and kettle and the owners left us a few bits (milk, Welshcakes) to snack on. There’s a fire pit and indoor fire. The bed is very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows.

Cons: The shower does run hot and then cold but we discovered that if you turn it to the top heat, that prevents it from happening.
