Highly recommend

Pros: Attention to the detail. Welcoming warm hosts. Amazing breakfast. The owner Rebeca is a chef and she makes everything herself from local produce whenever available, marmalades, fruit compote, even the granola! Very close to Hay, walkable distance if you don’t mind a 30 min stroll

Beautiful B&B

Pros: Beautiful property just outside Hay. The rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard. Breakfast was extremely good. We will definitely return.

Pros: An exceptional B&B, beautifully restored Georgian house in ideal village location for walks in NT The Begwns or those around Hay Bluff. The house was peaceful and very thoughtfully arranged with a large and comfortable guest lounge. The bedroom was a good size with a sofa. Breakfast was excellent with seasonal garden produce included appropriately and elegantly served in the Georgian dining room.

Cons: I can’t think of anything which I didn’t like. It was a serenely exquisite experience. Lovely owners!

Absolutely wonderful

Pros: This beautiful building with its interesting history is set in a quiet village and has a wonderful atmosphere. Facilities are great, clean, tastefully decorated. and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and efficient and helpful. Breakfast was amazing served in a lovely room on beautiful china. The food is home made or locally sourced were possible and delicious.

We came for the bookshops in Hay on Wye and found the books and much more.

Pros: What a jem! Great place. Very comfortable rooms and welcoming hospitality. The owners are well informed about the area and the region. Highly recommended.

A true hidden gem!

Pros: What was there not to like. Stephen and Rebecca were super friendly, and enquired about your day and upcoming plans; always recommending potential little gems to see and do. The house and location itself was absolutely spectacular; peaceful and set back from the main road, you never heard a single sound. My husband and I were in awe at how lovely the house was - classical décor gave the property a lovely sense of elegance and class. However, the pièce de résistance is the fabulous breakfast that awaits you in the morning. The continental spread was a delectable mix of cereals, fresh berries, yoghurt, breads and welsh cakes. In addition to this, they provide a cooked breakfast, fully sourced from local suppliers, which I can confirm, it tastes delicious.
