Good value comfortable accommodation in heart of a lovely town

Pros: The room was really nice and surprisingly peaceful considering it overlooks the high street and has floors above and below. We also really appreciated the little seating area separated from the room proper where one person could sit up and read while the other goes to bed. Could do with a curtain / film over the little internal window by the door for privacy. Room and bathroom were both nice and clean and bed was comfortable. Shared kitchen quite well equipped.

Cons: Yard that you enter through needs a good clean-up, bushes around the gate trimming and sign for the accommodation. Could be a nice outdoor space with chairs and plant pots.

Pros: Tina is a lovely host! Friendly, helpful and goes out of her way to make visitors welcome. Her breakfasts are excellent: gorgeous fruit and yoghurt and cooked breakfasts to order. Our room was spacious and comfortable, good shower.

Cons: There’s nothing to be done about the downside: lovely old beams in the room: mind your head!

A pleasant comfortable stay

Pros: The room was very hot and the fan a bit wonky but in every respect it was a bigger and nicer room than I expected with an excellent bathroom and everything I could want. I stayed during a heat wave but still was very comfortable and slept really well. I had a superb meal in the Thai restaurant downstairs.

Cons: Because it was so hot cotton pillowcases would have been nice but we don't often have this weather. A slightly bouncier pillow would have been nice .

Room 2

Pros: Nice, ,spacious room (suite?) with opening windows and skylight, full bathroom, access to kitchen (down a flight of stairs) with fridge and freezer, small dining room adjacent. Also fantastic Thai restaurant downstairs (booking advised). We really liked it and would stay here again :)

Cons: Rear access door could be better signed but found it ok with carefull reading of host's emailed directions. Two sets of stairs up to Room 2 no problem for us but may be for others.

Comfort and space

Pros: Amazing comfy bed! Great shower. Gorgeous room. Everything you could possibly need for a few night stay.

Cons: Unavoidable as the accommodation is adjoining a Thai restaurant but the smell of food was a bit overpowering! Despite this I would certainly stay again as everything else was exceptional

Perfect for what I wanted, will be booking again.

Pros: The place was amazing, really loved it, suited my needs down to the ground. I liked the fact that it had a fully equipped kitchen that I could use when needed, only three other rooms, that I could see so no waiting for the cooking area. The room was set out really well with a sofa to sit on whilst watching tele etc, teh bathroom was spacious with an amazing shower, clean and tidy. I was sent instructions on how to access the building before arriving and when I messaged to ask about parking I was responded to immediately - couldn't have asked for better.

Cons: I liked that fact that it felt like being at home, with space to move and lots of amenities.

Pros: It was very comfortable, the room was spacious and shared kitchen well equipped. The host was easy to contact and directions to a difficult to find property were excellent 👌

Pros: Ideal location - with plenty of facilities nearby. Good sized rooms, very clean, and good bathrooms - crucial after having just walked 28k on Offa Dyke

Cons: Timbers - just need to be careful - but personally this added to the character

Pros: Fabulous room, Tina went above and beyond to accommodate.

A lovely stay in beautiful surroundings

Pros: A nice comfortable room with separate area to work from Tina was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Separate kitchen facilities to cook and store food
