Pros: It was self catering but food/drink was supplied and donations given when anything taken from property

Cons: As the train track was near by, it was a little noisy when trains were running

Luxiourious, accommodating and completely comfortable.

Pros: The property was exceptionally clean and well taken care of, with beautifully furnished and decorated interior. There were various books, games and a pool table for entertainment as well as refreshments. The owners of the property went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and answer every question promptly and with care, even after we’d checked out of the property. Excellent value for money.

Cons: We were only sad we didn’t have more time to spend at the property during our trip, but wouldn’t hesitate to return if we found ourselves in the area again.

Superb Guest House.

Pros: We were very surprised to find we were to only guests, but it was early in the season. The whole Guest House was immaculate, with everything anyone could wish for. Beautiful bath/shower room, excellent leisure facilities, superb kitchen, dining room and Utility rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked, and you could use anything, with an Honesty Box for unattended payment. We only stopped for two nights, but hope we will be able to visit again soon.

Cons: There was no on-suite, which may have been useful if there had been a lot of guests, but the extra toilet facilities were next door to our room, and this will not put us off in the future. To be honest, because of the design of the building, trying to add on-suite facilities would be almost impossible, and make the rooms too small.

The very best that Llandrindod Wells has to offer.

Pros: Okay the shared bathroom may frighten some of us off but you really need to disregard that as this facility is absolutely delightful. From its central location and its gorgeous rooms and lounges. As for dining and the self-made breakfast, everything is available and on hand in a remarkably new and spotlessly clean, incredibly well equipped kitchen. The fridge groans under the weight of its contents and the honesty box system currently in place shows the refreshing and trusting nature of the proprietors.

Cons: Obviously en suite bathrooms are most desirable but this facility is still extremely special. We will most definitely return and relish doing so.

A modern, clean, newly decorated high spec townhouse.

Pros: Very new, clean and modern inside. Warm and luxurious. Every detail thought about.

Pros: Location is a great guest house done to the highest standards and well priced amazing, beautifully, done Hosts was very accommodating, easy to get in touch with quick responses It was a hot day. I requested a fan on return. There was one outside our room had a fab sleep, very clean. Definitely recommend Brooklands Guest House

Gavin and May were excellent hosts and have really paid attention to the details of the space.

Pros: This is a spectacular place! Just renovated with luxury touches. The bed was very comfortable and the entire place is very clean. The full kitchen and dining area was well equipped and there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy. All the rooms were booked during my stay, and I never heard any of the other guests. The bathroom is shared but there are two toilets, one separate from the main bathroom allowing for access if the main bathroom was in use. The main bathroom is very spacious and has a great modern shower and wonderful tub. Don't worry about forgetting something at home - it is very well stocked with anything you might need. It was a close walk to the Lake and is located right in the center of town. Definitely will be staying here when I visit next time.

Cons: The outside entrance. BUT, once you open the door, that ALL changes to a very inviting entrance. This is a multi-level building and is located on the main street. But my room was in the back and very quiet.
