Good location and experience

Pros: The location was perfect for visiting the city. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of choice. The hotel is clean throughout.

Cons: There was a water tank above our room that was quite noisy every time someone flushed a toilet.

Pros: Excellent dog friendly hotel in a great location in a lovely town.

Cons: Booking.com didn't make it clear (that despite it being very dog friendly) that we should have informed the hotel when booking. Not a problem in the end, Β£10 per night for a dog on top of the bill. Not the hotel's fault and they were lovely.

Welcoming, helpful staff and a great location

Pros: Great quiet, location very near the river. Short walk to old town centre

Cons: I couldn’t open my bedroom window at night and the room was too hot even when I turned the radiator off

Little Gem

Pros: We loved the location, small, friendly, clean fresh decor, and staff & parking and that they are dog driendly. Breakfast was delicious with a sausage for our Cocker spaniel.

Cons: Wasn't anything not to like!

Comfy and a good price easy access to town

Pros: Very handy for a walk into town for supper, arrived on a very rainy day so didn't get to explore. Staff very friendly

Cons: A bit more choice on the hot breakfast food would be good, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs would be nice
