Beautiful rooms in a gorgeous setting...and great food!

Pros: The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived during on Saturday afternoon, but there was ample parking and we were attended to immediately. Our room was gorgeous and absolutley immaculate with a four poster bed and a rain-head shower in the ensuite. We had dinner and breakfast and both were fab - with vegan options. The staff were all lovely, cheerful and efficient. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable and relaxing

Pros: It was a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and the view of the river was very pleasant. The shower was excellent.

Cons: There could be a coffee machine in the room. We had to trek downstairs for a proper coffee in the morning.

Excellent

Pros: Food was lovely,. We went to a function for lunch, we'll organised for 60 people. Staff very helpful.

Cons: Could have done with a bit more lighting in the bedroom, we had a room with a 4 poster bed bed the size of the bed took most of the lighting so we only had bedside lamps,

Pros: Good location for the livestock market. Pub/restaurant looked good, but I didn't need to use it on my visit, I'm afraid.

Cons: I could've used a usb socket. There might have been one, but I didn't find it.

Would certainly return. Can’t really say better than that for a hotel!

Pros: . I’ve been coming to this pub/hotel for years and it just gets better. Room was cosy and clean, staff friendly, and breakfast was pleasant, served efficiently and with good cheer, and inexpensive.

Cons: I can’t think of anything!
