Lovely cottages, quiet and peaceful setting

Pros: Lovely cottage in grounds of equestrian centre - really quiet and peaceful, and well equipped.

Cons: Hard to find in the dark!!!

Loved it over all. Quiet scenic retreat and lovely people

Pros: Loved the grounds and the location. The cottage and other cottage areas were great. Some wear and tear in mine(thyme) but overall loved it.

Cons: The sette was misshapen and worn. One of the bathrooms had a slow leak and damage from it

Pros: Lovely situation with quiet accommodation and well equipped cottage. The grounds were beautiful and the cottage offered everything needed for a comfortable self catered stay

Good location apart frrom the unlit turnoff from the main road

Pros: During a previous stay we enjoyed a good breakfast but it was not available this time. Over spacious for me and the dog but having stayed here before it was convenient.

Cons: Following Google maps at night there is no lighting at the turn off from the main road, and it must be a narrow entrance which I passed twice and ended up coming in from the village.

Pros: Pleasant environment . Quiet. Can't complain for the price .

Cons: Some of the interior looking a bit tired in need of repair . Really uncomfortable bed .

Pros: Clean, comfortable and convenient. When we had an issue with our oven not working the staff from the hotel attended to fix it within minutes, despite an ongoing wedding at the venue.

Cons: The only downside was the light in the main lounge was very dim. But we brought in a bedroom lamp too brighten it up.

Great stay, good value , lovely grounds

Pros: Loved the area. Large cottage . Everything you needed . Very clean !

Cons: The mattress was not the comfiest but it was ok for the night .

Lovely cottages on a beautiful estate - ideal for a short escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

Pros: Huge ground and well sign posted once inside the gates. Lots of parking and absolute peace and quiet. Very spacious with a huge and well equipped kitchen.

Cons: Directions to the location are a little confused if you use the post code only - it will bring you to the main house rather than the cottages. This is not a huge issue but potentially a problem if checking in out of hours.

Quiet location, close to Shrewsbury and Shropshire Hills.

Pros: Quiet location, spacious accommodation. Plenty of space for parking. Easy to find.

Cons: The kitchen was fully fitted with dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, everything you'd expect but was lacking some basics. The oven didn't work, no sponge or cloth for washing up and wiping sufaces. No chopping boards. No bath as advertised in the details.

Pros: The cottage I stayed in was spacious, warm and very clean. Lovely location for long and short countryside walks. Netley Hall itself was closed over Christmas so not many people about.

Cons: The kitchen, though large with lots of cupboards, didn't have a tea towel that I could find. Probably just an oversight - hardly a major issue plus the kitchen bin didn't have a lid, no bin in the bathroom and no headboard on the double bed, didn't check the two single beds. Unfortunately neither of the bedrooms had windows which I realise isn't the fault of the owners just seemed a little odd having to have the light on all the time.
