The Duck House

Perfect location, would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Wales

Pros: Great location, cosy and peaceful place to relax. Feels homely and was very clean. Also a great location to use for walks and trips out to North Wales.

Cons: Nothing. We have no negative comments to makes.

Pros: The cabin was brilliant and in great surroundings, it was immaculate and comfortable and ideal for couples exploring Barmouth, the owner Tracey made us feel very welcome.

Pros: The Duck House is beautiful,, it it well equipped and beautifully decorated and furnished. The location is gorgeous, surrounded by trees and wildlife.

Perfect stay for couples.

Pros: The location, being private and secluded, in amongst the trees and overlooking the duck pond. It was only a five minute walk to everything, but lovely and quiet. The property was super, with excellent equipment and a great coffee machine. The outdoor seating area was lovely too.

Cons: Nothing at all.

A very special place

Pros: Location was excellent you could have been anywhere listening to the birds and wildlife and the owner Tracey was lovely really helpful.

Probably the nicest place to stay in Barmouth and we've been going over 50 years.

Pros: Tracey meeting us on arrival and having a chat with her.The Duckhouse was tastefully furnished and fantastic hidden location with great outside seating area... the outside lights lining the drive and at the duckhouse as we walked home in the evening made it extra special,thanks !!x

Cons: Loved everything,not essential but a microwave would be usefull

Pros: Location, facilities, location, lovely and quiet location with Balcony overlooking the Duckpond, could have been anywhere, but Barmouth facilities and beach, a 10 minute walk away

An enjoyable experience in a unique location

Pros: Tracy was very welcoming and the location is quite spectacular in view of its proximity in Barmouth.

Cons: Can't honestly say there was anything to dislike.

Cozy getaway

Pros: It was very clean and cozy. I love the aesthetic. It was a lovely little getaway.

Cons: The property was lovely but the food available in the town is quite heavy and there is only a co-op and SPAR.

Perfect mini break.

Pros: Absolutely fantastic little accommodation. Very clean and has everything you need for a nice few days away. Great private location and not more than five minutes walk to the nearest shops and bars. I have to say the coffee machine is a very nice touch. Easy to use and being able to have freshly ground coffee in the mornings is a treat. You can tell that a lot of time and effort has gone into making the Duck House a special place to stay. Thank you 😊
